Birthday blog event–The round up

Blogevent hochFor my Blog-Birthday-Event I got many terrific recipes. They range from No knead Breads over different breads with Nuts, Potato Breads to simple Sourdough recipes. I enjoyed reading the mails and Blog entries very much!

It just took me a bit of time to put everything together as round up as we had some very busy weeks here (cooking for Ph.d. Defenses for example). And in the meantime I although put together all of my recipes for the Bread baking course for a little eBook which will be available from Saturday on (but only in German for the Moment).  In the first four weeks you can download it for free at Amazon and other online bookstores. Later it will be available for a small fee, so download it now 🙂

And please enjoy all this great recipes for my Birthday Pary!

IMG_20151115_111919 The first Blogpost for this event is the first Blogpost Ben ever published on his brandnew Blog “Brotpoet”. He has a gread Dinkel-Joghurt-Honig-Brötchen recipe for us!

pilzstrudel6 From the far away Marocco Doreen from Kochen und Backen im Wohnmobil brings as a filled Bread baked in the Omnia (small kind of oven). It is amazing how you can bake real bread while traveling!

kartoffelbrot Susanne from Magentratzerl baked a simple potato bread. She used nearly  Martin Johansson recipe which reminds me of my ever-changing-recipe-self.

_DSC0100 Arndt from Microbäcker was inspired by Arnd Erbel to bake different kinds of breads by using always 1 Kilogramm flour, 700g Water and 20g Salt. The first bread in this series is a Weizenmischbrot 70/30

Tomaten-Basilikum-Brot_3 Event Perfect for a birthday party is the tomato basil bread which Heiner from SiMPELMEiER baked for us.

No-Knead Sourdough A great bread for beginners is the No-Knead-Sourdough bread which Susanna von Mehlstaub und Ofenduft bakd.

brotwein-roggenbrot-roggenschrot-roggensauerteig The dough of this perfectly moist rye bread with coarsly milled rye and sourdough, which Sylvia form Brotwein baked is easy to handle and so a good bread to beginners.

DSC_0010 klein Lena hat the great idea to add grounded popcorn in her dough. This adds a special flavour to the Popcorn rolls.

No Knead mit Nüssen (1) A second No knead bread brings Dagmar form  Dagmar’s brotecke. Made with Nuts it is the perfect bread for a nut lover like me.

Quark-Streusel-Gulatschen (1) And as something sweet is always important for a Birthday, I baked some delicious and easy to modify Quark-Streusel-Kolatschen.

    Hallo Stefanie,
