These are family recipes, and a christmas \u201cmust have\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>But each year I have to bake <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hefe-und-mehr.de\/category\/kuchen-und-geback\/weihnachtsplatzchen\/\">some<\/a> new recipes as well. And one of the recipes I tried this year are these quince stars. When I made my traditional Linzer Ringe recipe I had the Idea of a cookie made with a quince fillung and some grounded almonds and a little bit of tonka bean in the dough. I use the tonka beans always carefully because while they taste delicious, their aroma is a strong one, too.<\/p>\n<p>I like my spontaneous recipe vey much, the combination of almond, quince and tonka bean fits very well!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h1><u>Quince stars with Tonka bean <\/u><\/h1>\n<p>Dough<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100g ground almonds,<\/li>\n<li>150g flour Type 405<\/li>\n<li>70g sugar<\/li>\n<li>125g Butter<\/li>\n<li>1 Egg size L<\/li>\n<li>1 Tsp. Baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1 Prise Salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 Tonka bean<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Filling<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>quince jelly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Topping<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>powdered sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Knead the ingredients for the dough shortly until combined and cool in the fridge for hour. Roll out thinly and cut star shaped cookies, half of them as rings.<\/p>\n<p>Bake at 180\u00b0C for 10 min.<\/p>\n<p>Let the stars and star shaped rings\u00a0 cool down. In the meantime melt the quince jelly. Sprinkle the rings with powdered sugar.
