It\u2019s only one week left till eastern. When I take a look at thermometer in the morning and see that its only 0\u00b0C I snuggle myself in a thick scarf and forget that its already springtime. But its only seven days left and so I started to think about our Easter breakfast.<\/p>\n<p>In the last years I baked <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hefe-und-mehr.de\/en\/2011\/04\/pani-di-cena\/\">Pani di Cena<\/a> an Sicilian Easter bun traditionally baked on Good Friday or little buns as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hefe-und-mehr.de\/en\/2011\/04\/osternestchen\/\">Easter nest<\/a> , where an egg (colored with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hefe-und-mehr.de\/en\/2011\/04\/ostereier-mit-naturfarben-frben\/\">homemade natural dyes<\/a>) is placed in the middle. And little doves \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hefe-und-mehr.de\/en\/2009\/04\/von-haschen-und-taubchen\/\">Colombina<\/a> \u2013 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hefe-und-mehr.de\/en\/2010\/04\/osterhschen\/\">Easter bunnies<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hefe-und-mehr.de\/en\/2012\/04\/osterhschen-bernacht-variante\/\">different shapes<\/a> (including a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hefe-und-mehr.de\/en\/2012\/04\/wie-formt-man-einen-osterhasen\/\">pictured &#8220;how to&#8221;<\/a>) are essential part of my Easter breakfast, too!<\/p>\n<p>This year I\u2019m thinking about baking chocolate hot cross buns (for the beloved one who doesn\u2019t eat raisins) and Poschwecken (with raisins for me).
