For MCs Spicy Buns I need a spice mixture which I could not get here. And so I decided to try a own mixture – something that worked even better then expected. I think I will use my winter spice mix often for baking this winter

Winter Spice Mix

• 10g cinnamon
• 5g cardamom seeds
• 1 Vanilla bean
• 1g Macis
• 1/2 star anis
• 1 clove
• 5 allspice berries

Grind all spices together to a fine powder, using an electric coffee mill.
